John Maude.jpeg

We sadly say good bye to our friend and colleague John Maude, who has been a long term friend and participant at the Pottery Expo.

So many potters have enjoyed his warmth, sense of humour and skill with his invention and production of Easy bats. He will be greatly missed by many.

Our heart goes out to his wife Joy, his tower of strength and always by his side. Condolences to their family.

VALE John Maude, 14 August 2021

Ceramic leaves made by children at the Pottery Expo in February 2021 have been installed in the park near the Warrandyte Bridge, next to the barbecue and picnic area.

Thanks to Claytalk at Montsalvat for working with all the eager participants, to Clayworks for providing the clay, colours and firing and to Manningham Council for enabling the project and installation.

It looks great!
