Low fired porcelain saggar fired with combustibles. Nonfunctional decorative vessels with patterns influenced by the desert, shapes and colours of nature. The passage of flames and smoke create one off ceramic pieces. LW

I look towards Nature’s palette to discover pattern, colour, form and texture. At times the sea influences my work and sometimes the crisp Australian Bush leads to a series of work. The process of creating is as important as the final piece. The feeling of clay moving through my hands is like meditation’
