Slow Clay Centre is a specialist ceramics education centre based in Collingwood. Staff are recognised exhibiting ceramic artists with strong background in education. SCC caters for all levels from complete beginners through to advanced including workshops, forums and mentoring for practising artists. The Slow Clay method of teaching the wheel was developed by founder Jane Sawyer and is based on traditional ergonomic techniques she learnt as an apprentice in Japan. Visit our stall for some forums and panel discussions by Pottery Expo artists! ​
